Anewtale.com believes a Scholastic Writing Contest should always be free, meaning, there will never be an admission fee to enter one of our creative writing contests. We also believe the judging should be fair and therefore we screen out the best then leave the rest of the voting up to our reading members. We post the top three results of all our poets and writing contests. (Under 18 contestants we only post first names and city names for their protection) Since this is a creative writing advice website we frequently ask our readers to leave their comments on your published poems and short stories so bare that in mind when entering if you are sensitive when it comes to critiques of your work. Any negative comments or criticisms are meant for teaching and learning, never to be spiteful!
